The food, drinks and service were absolutely amazing. I had a really good time as it was my birthday dinner and I was so so pleased! Every single dish was flavourful and so tasty - I especially loved the scallops and duck! The dessert cart was very special and I loved the mousse :) Thank you for making the dinner special!

The dining experience was one of a kind for sure. Interior, music and overall atmosphere made my special night even more special and was overall very authentic. The establishment is warm, professional and welcoming. Despite this, the main highlight of our night which was the food was a let down. Escargot and beef tartar appetizers were delicious, but the quality of the mains and desserts fell short as the night went on.

I really like the food from this French restaurant. Their snails are one of my favorites, very tasty and delicious. The bread is served warm, and the beef tartare is well-seasoned with a hint of pickles, which balances out amazingly. The pâté is creamy, and the depth of the flavors is very inspiring. The little pickles and pearl onions on the side accompany it perfectly. The fish is fresh and delicious, and the grilled vegetables are well-cooked too. The general flavor of this restaurant tends to be on the heavy side, so it’s something to keep in mind when ordering, especially if you’re not planning to feel very full. However, the service is not very amazing. When making the reservation, they asked what occasion it was for, and I mentioned a birthday. Unfortunately, there was no greeting or acknowledgment of the occasion upon our arrival, nor was anything prepared for it. This felt quite ignorant and superficial, considering they inquired about the occasion in the first place.

Our experience in this restaurant was amazing. The service was excellent, food was great, and ambience was impressive. From our seat we could see the chefs working in the kitchen. The staff were constantly checking how we were doing and if we needed anything. We ordered the tasting menu which gave us a choice of one entreé, one main, and one dessert per person dining. I really loved the butter woth a basket of baguette, it was light and very tasty which reminded me of my recent visit to Paris. We had escargots de bourgogne and saint-jacques à la bretonne for our entreés. We opted for cheese and truffle risotto and beef tenderloin for our mains. The beef tenderloin was not very exceptional, but the risotto was perfect! For our desserts we had the creme bruleé which was delicious and had a very generous serving. Another dessert we had was the crêpes suzette flambées which surprised us with a flame when it was served. We had a few cocktails peche mignoin, bubulle, and amaretto sour. The bubulle drink was so pretty with the frozen rose in the centre if the drink. They also have locks if you wanna do love locks at the entrance. Overall, amazing service and food. We will definitely come back.

Staff prepared us with knife for the bone marrow. This was useful. Though we wish we could have had spoons so we would have been able to scoop out all the marrow. Not a complaint really. Otherwise, excellent. Thank you for your work and service.

Top tier. Food was authentic and full of flavour at reasonable prices. $50-60 steaks. French onion soup was bloody delicious! Nice amount of cheese.

Gavroche has an amazing ambience that is reminiscent of Paris. Their cocktails are good and the flavours of their dishes are tasty. The only minor gripe was that the steak we had was slightly chewy and the chips could’ve been cooked a little longer, but overall it was a great dining experience.
